26 27 28 29

I wanted to bundle the last ones together.
Read about tag clouds, which are an interesting way of posting tags and posted my wordle.
here's my wordle:
http://www.wordle.net/show/wrdl/1802326/sean
its based on the blog I've been writing, here. I accidentally printed like 4 copies of it.. oops.

Overall, these 29 things have shown many thing I have already seen before.
Some were interesting, but for the most part it felt a bit tedious because I had already been to most of the sites featured, and have played around with them in the past.
I did have some fun messing around with the different web applications available, but overall felt as though the tutorial was outdated, and not maintained because of the broken links and outdated information for users such as myself. If you are new to the web, I could see how this would be a helpful tool to the internet, but unfortunately I am not.

24&25

24. Discover some useful search tools for locating podcasts.
25. Take a look at the titles available on
NetLibrary and learn how to download audiobooks.

I've discovered that most of the 29 things that I'm trying to "discover" I've have already encountered in my travels of the internet. I have used the search tools they provided before, and I have gotten audiobooks online before. This being said, I went on the websites again, learned a bit about each of them. I watched a couple of podcasts, including the interveiw on podacasters:

In addition, I opened a netlibrary account, and looked up some books that I enjoy like Slaughterhouse 5. I hope I don't get spammed too much.

23. Discover YouTube and a few sites that allow users to upload and share videos.

I've used youtube before, for more personal stuff, I don't really want to post my link, but I tried to upload a video for this post, and failed because of camera difficulties, but I think it was youtube and not my camera because my camera works for chatroulette.

22. Explore any site from the Web 2.0 awards list, play with it and write a blog post about your findings.

I was very interested to see which sites ranked the bast according to this website.
I was happy to see lulu.com got first place as best bookseller, I've used them before to self publish my own work. I checked out oodle.com which is a classifieds website similar to craigslist (which got first place) and found it overly distracting, and thought if they went with something more similar to craigslist they might have got first place. Google go the award for collaborative writing and word processing (go figure) finally I went to http://www.imcooked.com/ to see what they were all about, and found it very intriguing, and will email the link to my girlfriend.

21. Take a look at some online productivity (word processing, spreadsheet) tools.

In the Learning 2.0 they wanted me to checkout Zoho, but to avoid spam I opted out of trying it out and I am going to blog about another word processing, spreadsheet tools which are available when you sign up for gmail.
When you click on documents once signed into your gmail account, you can access both word processing and spreadsheet, and a calendar, and many other gadgets and doodads (technical term) that are helpful online, I use them almost everyday.

20. Locate a few useful library related blogs and/or news feeds.

Checked out

and came back to http://technorati.com/
checked out some blogs, searched for some interesting articles, and was generally impressed.
